SEO Project of Epicureans Of Florida & Epic Private Chef Miami

This was my first US-based freelance project for SEO and website development. The client operates two websites:

  1. Epic Private Chef Miami
  2. Epicureans of Florida

Website Migration & SEO Optimization

Epicureans of Florida was initially a custom-coded website. Since I had to manage both design and SEO, I recommended migrating it to WordPress for better flexibility. With the help of the client’s previous developer, the transition was completed within a week.

However, due to Google Ads-related issues, the client advised not to make any major changes until January. As a result, my primary focus was on optimizing Epic Private Chef Miami for SEO. I have started this project in Sep’2024.

Client Goals

The client provides private chef and catering services across multiple locations:

  • Miami
  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Boca Raton
  • Palm Beach
  • Coral Gables

His primary Objectives were:

  1. Ranking on Page 1 of Google for “Private Chef” in Miami location for Epic Private Chef Miami Website.
  2. Increasing conversions (inquiries and bookings).

SEO Strategy & Implementation

  1. Website Audit & Content Optimization
  • Conducted a detailed SEO audit and fixed all technical issues of Epic Private Chef Miami,
  • Analyzed website content and found it was AI-generated and unoptimized.
  • Performed keyword research and discovered important keywords competitors were targeting, but the client was not.
  • Rewrote and optimized content for better relevance and engagement, ensuring approval before making it live.
  1. Competitor Analysis & Backlink Research
  • Identified top competitors (both from the client’s list and independent research).
  • Analyzed competitor content strategy and backlink profiles.
  • Used insights to refine on-page SEO and off-page activities.
  1. Location-Specific Page Optimization
  • While Epic Private Chef Miami targets only Miami, Epicureans of Florida covers multiple locations.
  • Created a dedicated page for “South Florida-Based Caterer” based on high search volume.
  • Within a few days, the page started ranking and attracting traffic.
  • Optimized all location-specific pages and made them live after approval.
  1. Event Tracking & Conversion Optimization

Using Google Tag Manager, I implemented tracking for key actions:

  • Primary conversion: Visits to the Thank You Page (completed bookings).
  • Secondary conversions:
    • Clicks on phone numbers.
    • Visits to the “Book Now” page.
    • Other important interactions.

This helped in tracking lead sources and refining marketing strategies.

  1. Blog Strategy & Content Marketing
  • Started publishing four blogs per month on the Miami website to improve organic reach.

  1. Google Business Profile Optimization of Epic Private Chef Miami.
  • Optimized GMB title and description for better local rankings.
